Former managing director of Film2fone, 1SMS and Lightmaker, Cooper was also instrumental in the setup and eventual sale of top digital agency Eunite to the N Brown Group. We caught up with him to ask what attracted him to Eonic.
“I think it was the potential I saw already embedded in the organisation. There’s some amazingly talented people working here and felt I could help realise that potential.”
Did he have anything to do with the rebrand and new direction?
“For sure. The existing branding and website just didn’t reflect the market positioning and direction of Eonic or showcase its talent and capabilities. It had to evolve and now it has.”
So, how did that come about?
“I took the company through exactly the same strategic consultancy process as Eonic employs with its clients. We were very deliberate about doing this prior to my appointment, to ensure I was acting as an external consultant from a truly objective viewpoint. Not only did this produce a clear strategy to move the business forward, but it confirmed what I believed the company was able to achieve. It defined and re-defined its brand values.”
We asked what these were.
“They were crystal clear”, he said. “Eonic are authoritative, but friendly. We’re approachable, but direct; not afraid to tell clients how it is. We’re welcoming, yet professional. We’re also playful and inquisitive…there’s a sense of fun about the place. It’s about people doing business with people. It’s what Eonic do and we do it well.”
